Thanks to its great location, the traditional-style inn is a short way from Nelson Towering Monument and near a train station.

convenient location tram stop useful supermarket noisy floorboards thin walls peeling paint

The location IS very convenient. The tram stop right outside provides easy access to the airport. I found a supermarket just a short walk away, very useful.

The floorboards were quite noisy! the walls seemed thin. I could hear neighbors. Curtains barely covered the window. Peeling paint surrounded it.

no water massive inconvenience

The staff worked hard to keep the tables clean at breakfast. I guess that's something.

I checked in early. How nice of me? then i returned to the room, and guess what, no water. if only they had told me there were hotel-wide issues at check-in. My stay could have been better.

helpful staff easy access simple walk

the staff were helpful upon arrival. the location offered easy access to many shops and restaurants nearby. i found it simple to walk to the main attractions and the royal mile from the hotel.

The room lacked sufficient lighting. It looked quite gloomy during the evening.

a solid stay near the action

great location warm staff dated room moldy door

the location was very convenient to trams. breakfast had many options and i found it very satisfying. the staff were warm and offered cups for coffee to go. a taxi to the station was organised quickly.

the room we got felt a bit old and in need of some love. there was also mold on the door.
